Pekingeses are intensely loyal, wonderfully stubborn, fiercely protective, exceptionally smart, eagerly playful, extremely sensitive, and eternally loving and lovable "dogs." If you have ever been the pet parent of one, very likely you already know the tremendous joy a Pekingese baby is capable of adding to anyone's family. It comes natural to them.

Our Pekingese babies are no exception. From the moment they were born, these wiggling, fussy bundles of joy have been leaving indelible pawprints all across our hearts. We believe any one of our babies can leave infinitely more all across yours.

Grumpy, Snow White, Happy, Sleepy, and Bashful are their mother Sara's first and only litter. We are not professional breeders, although we have had invaluable help from one — their father Buddy's — as well as from our veterinarian. Both made our job of whelping and raising a thriving, healthy litter a much easier one, and we will always feel extremely blessed they were there for us. However, it is going to have to be a once in a lifetime experience for our family. One that none of us, of course, would trade for anything else in the world.

All of our Pekingese babies are ready to go to good and loving forever homes. They have spent over three months together, becoming socialized and learning very much how to be well-adjusted and well-behaved Pekingeses. Each has remarkable spirit, is alert, curious, and smart, and responds well to loving and patient discipline and training. Every one of them relishes attention and wants to discover and be taught new things.

Like other members of their breed, our babies are meant to live indoors but love to go outside and play and do their business before coming back in. Pekingeses need relatively little exercise to stay fit and healthy. Nevertheless, be careful on hot days, because they are very sensitive to heat.

We watch with constant joy as each Pekingese baby continues to develop his or her own personality.

Bashful found a good and loving forever home 11-06-2011.

Bashful, the youngest baby, is obviously the cutest of the five. He is always exploring. He loves to run and play so much that he sometimes forgets when to slow down. He has no trouble, however, keeping up with his three older brothers and sister. Bashful is a true blessing.

Sleepy found a good and loving forever home 12-16-2011.

Sleepy, the third oldest baby boy, is the most easy-going. He is also the most independent. He loves to observe his brothers and sister as they begin to tussle with each other. Then he jumps right in and joins them and everyone has great fun. Sleepy is our angel.

Happy kept and registered by breeder.

Happy, the middle baby, appears the smartest of an already very smart bunch. He is constantly figuring out things. He loves to flank his brothers and sister when we are handing out treats. Then he flies seemingly out of nowhere for a perfectly timed interception! Happy is exceptionally intelligent.

Snow White found a good and loving forever home 12-16-2011.

Snow White, the only baby girl, is the most loving. She has a very sweet and beautiful spirit. She also can put her paw down when she has to. Being surrounded by four very active, playful brothers is not a problem at all for her. Snow White is our princess.

Grumpy kept and registered by breeder.

Grumpy, the oldest baby, is the loveable leader of this adorable pack. He is most outgoing and always out front. One of his favorite toys is a ring of five plastic keys. Which is appropriate because, as we love to say whenever he has them, Grumpy has the keys to our hearts.
